Why Can’t Bobby Bowden Just Let It Go?
Bobby Bowden is giving interviews to promote his new book, and telling everyone how he was forced out and did not leave on his own terms. Is he really telling us anything we did not already know though?

David Cutcliffe Opts for Duke Over Tennessee
When I heard reports on the 11:00 news last night that Duke's head football coach David Cutcliffe was talking to the University of Tennessee about its vacant head coaching position I assumed it was simply a matter of dotting some I's and crossing some T's to lure Cutcliffe away. I was stunned when it was announced this morning that Cutcliffe was staying put.

Will USC Come to Regret Lane Kiffin?
The more I keep watching and listening to what is out there in the news the past few days as it pertains to Lane Kiffin I cannot help but wonder if USC is going to come to regret hiring him. Is Kiffin just a guy who excels at selling himself and putting up a good facade, or, is he the real deal?

Lane Kiffin is Gone, Get Over it Tennessee Fans
I had to shake my head while watching SportsCenter earlier today. They were playing clips of people calling into local sports talk radio in Knoxville just shredding Lane Kiffin. I can empathize with them being upset over losing their head football coach after one season, but Vols fans need to get over it and move on.

Mike Leach to South Florida?
There is speculation going around the college football world that recently deposed Texas Tech coach Mike Leach has been contacted by the University of South Florida in regards to its vacant head coaching position. I am not sure of the validity of it, but, I did see it mentioned on ESPN's ticker a little bit ago.

CFB: Jake Locker Spurns NFL for Senior Season
University of Washington quarterback Jake Locker announced Monday that he will be returning for his senior season rather than enter the NFL draft. It is definitely an interesting decision given where the experts all think he would go in the draft.

CFB: Is UNC The Worst Team in the ACC?
It is almost shocking to say but the University of North Carolina may actually have the worst football team in the ACC this year. After blowing an 18-point second half lead at home to Florida State last night only the Tar Heels and North Carolina State remain without a conference victory. The two most disconcerting things about last night's game are the way the defense appeared to just give up in the second half and the way the coaching staff seemed to give up on T. J. Yates.

Lou Holtz Not Running For Congress
So, Lou Holtz went on record saying, "I'm working for ESPN. I don't want to run for Congress". All of this apparently came about when a GOP strategist claimed Holtz was considering running for the seat in Florida currently held by Representative Suzanne Kosmas.
