MLB: Are the Cards the Only Team Negotiating With Matt Holliday?
Matt Holliday is widely considered the top available free agent this winter yet we have heard very little about teams negotiating with Holliday's agent Scott Boras. Is it because of Boras' outlandish claims that Holliday deserves a contract on par with what Mark Teixeira got from the Yankees last year, or, is it because the big market teams like the Yankees and Red Sox are not in the market for a player of Holliday's ilk this winter?

MLB: What’s Cooking on the Hot Stove
Roy Halladay rumors continue to abound. There is a new player in mix on Jason Bay. With Rich Harden off the market interest in Ben Sheets is heating up. The John Lackey pursuit seems to be down to three teams. Who will man third base for the Red Sox next season?

MLB: Rangers Deal Millwood, Harden on the Way?
The Texas Rangers agreed to trade starting pitcher Kevin Millwood and $3 million to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for reliever Chris Ray. On the heels of that deal comes word that the Rangers and free agent pitcher Rich Harden are close to coming to terms on a contract.

MLB: What’s Cooking on the Hot Stove
The hot stove is starting to heat up around the big leagues. Are the Rays and Cubs talking about a potential deal for Milton Bradley? Which teams are interested in Miguel Tejada and Placido Polanco as third basemen? Where will Johnny Damon and Jermaine Dye be playing next year, and is Brett Myers about to make a trip south?

MLB: Marlins Dangling Dan Uggla?
In true Marlins fashion it is expected that they will try and deal second baseman Dan Uggla this off season before his salary gets to upwards of eight or nine million dollars. FOX Sport is reporting that the Marlins have had early discussions with the Baltimore Orioles and San Francisco Giants about a deal.

MLB: The American League MVP Race
As we enter the middle of August the American League Most Valuable Player race is heating up and much like last year there is no clear cut favorite at this stage. Mark Teixeira, Joe Mauer, Kendry Morales, and Justin Morneau seem to be the top contenders but neither truly stands out from the rest of the contenders. The Pickle is here to give you who the front runners are for the American League Most Valuable Player Award and who seems to have the edge over the other contenders at this point of the year.
