MLB: Adrian Gonzalez to Boston Rumors Heating Up
The Red Sox still need a clean up hitter and with the team signing John Lackey and apparently willing to let Jason Bay go rumors of the Sox making another run at Adrian Gonzalez are heating up. Unfortunately, for Sox fans, it does not sound as though Gonzalez is going to be in Boston any time soon.

It is being reported that top free agent pitcher John Lackey is in Boston to take a team physical Monday. This is an indication that the team is close to agreement that would bring Lackey to Boston.
