I think & wish Johnny Damon should go to the Yankees. He a draw for the fans. What is wrong with you Yankees. You have players now making 25 plus millions & are not doing much for that much $. You get all these top notch players & when they get a chance to play they don’t amount to anything. Get mJohnny back before Boston grabs him. Cashman think twice., sign johnny on to the Yankees. Can Kerrigan play end in a 3-4 front though? He is only listed around 260 pounds which is pretty light for a 3-4 end. Can he add 20 to 25 pounds and not lose his quickness. I see him more as the edge rusher the Pats have not had since McGinest left.

A guy like J. J. Watt who is about an inch taller and already 20 pounds heavier than Kerrigan will likely be there at the top of the second round and would probably make a better 3-4 end.

I think you nailed the Patriots needs. Kerrigan can be the rush DE opposite of Ty/Gerard Warren as the Anchor end. It fills a need an elevates an already young, athletic, and Quickly improving defense.

I see Matt Light as a free agent defection this year. Vollmer plays a better LT than RT and is an up and coming star. He moves to LT. Mankins will be franchised at LG, Koppen is young and healthy at C. Neal is old and banged up, but still a near pro bowl quality run blocker. If his health fails, Dan Connolly has started all but 3 games this year and done well. I think with one key pick on the OL, this Pats group remains one of the best in the league.

I fully expect pick #33 (from Carolina) to jump back to the defensive side of the ball for a OLB to fit with Spikes, Cunningham, and Mayo to form a young and imposing group of LBers.
