Karim Runs Into Draft?
Running back Abdul “Deji” Karim may have run his way into the upcoming draft at Southern Illinois’ Pro Day this week.
Karim did not participate in the scouting combine a couple of weeks ago, however, he had what would have been the highest vertical leap at 43 inches and turned in a 40 time of 4.4 seconds which would have been the third best amongst running backs at the combine.
It seems unlikely that he draws a high pick, but, it sounds as though he might warrant a mid-round pick based on his workout this week. Fifteen teams were reportedly on hand to watch Karim workout.
